poetry

A poem: In the twilight

Over by the meadow, beyond all the broken lights,

Deep within the trails of the softest of moons,

Somewhere in the glowing sun of the infinite fields,

There is a stillness that comes with the night,

Heaven sent, earthly bound, in songs of seasons,

As it has always been, it lies and waits outside time,

For souls to awaken from the deepest of sleeps,

Bound to the fated life that whispers and sings.

In those hidden spaces which overlap these cracked stones,

That’s where we find those who are delicately free,

Sleeping by the cool ocean, warm by the burning fire,

Endlessly young, dancing in the glowing twilight,

Roaming, conquering… forever daring to dream.
